ChoosingCharter is committed to making its website and services accessible to parents, guardians, students, school representatives, and community members with disabilities.
Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience that allows users to research, compare, and connect with charter schools regardless of technology, ability, or access method.

ChoosingCharter aims to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast

- Captions or transcripts for applicable media

- Avoidance of unnecessary flashing content

Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
As ChoosingCharter adds school profiles, matching tools, dashboards, maps, events, and third-party integrations, we will continue evaluating and improving accessibility.
We may use automated testing, manual keyboard testing, screen-reader testing, and user feedback.
Third-Party Content
Some school websites, videos, maps, application systems, calendar tools, and other third-party services linked from ChoosingCharter are controlled by outside organizations.
We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content, but we encourage our partners and providers to offer accessible experiences.
